Mrs. sue van DE LOO

Musical Director for Beginner & Concert Bands

Sue Van de Loo earned a Music Education (K-12 Band) degree from UW-Eau Claire, and is currently licensed to teach music in the state of Wisconsin.  She received a Master of Music degree (Choral Music) from Arizona State University.  During her 9 years directing middle/high band, she was honored with a Teacher of the Year award in Marshfield.   Exiting the “work force” to homeschool four (now adult) children, Sue continued music involvement directing Children’s Choir at church for 21 years, along with a variety of other student and community ensembles.  Most recently, she served as Director of Music and Liturgy at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls.  Though officially retired, Sue continues involvement at Notre Dame as a regular accompanist, and directs one choir. She is excited to return to band, where she started, and to share her talent and energy with Joyful Noise Homeschool Band.

Mrs. Amber Richards

Amber loves singing, dancing, and all types of music, but can't actually play any instruments! See her with all your Joyful Noise Band questions!
